After the cute dinosaur sculpture disappeared, whenever I drove past the nursery, I would sigh,
“don’t know where the dinosaur has gone,
but the green grass is still smiling in spring wind like before”
borrowing words from an old Chinese poem,
“don’t know where the woman has gone,
but the peach flowers are still smiling in spring wind like before”
Sometimes, after many things changed, the environment may still look the same.
恐龍 = dinosaur, 不知 = don’t know, 何處 = where, 去 = gone
綠草 = green grass, 依舊 = still as before, 笑 = smile, 春風 = spring wind
人面 = human face = woman (in this context), 桃花 = peach tree flower
